Stout/Cipriano Team Captures British Open Doubles | 92 years Since an American has Won a Championshi

Peter Cipriano and World Champion James Stout defeated Mike Bailey and Nick Hopcroft in the final 15-11, 15-5, 16-13, 15-11 of the British Open racquets doubles at the Queens Club on April 11th.

This is the first time since the British Amateur Singles victory of C.C.Pell, Sr. in  1925 that an American – born player (Cipriano) has won a national championship in Britain.
